A practical entrepreneurship programme helping secondary school students develop simple ideas and work towards earning their first legal income.

Why this programme exists

Most students leave school having never earned money legally or tested an idea. The programme closes that gap with a small, real, supervised first venture.

Who can participate

Students in partner schools, nominated by their school and supported by a parent or guardian. No prior business experience is required.

What participants gain

A tested idea and a first legal sale

Basic costing, pricing and record keeping

A named mentor for the full eight weeks

A WSF certificate with a verification ID

Develop

Shape the idea, cost it, price it.

Apply

Sell to real customers with mentor support.

Does it cost anything?

No. My First Income is funded by WSF and its partners.

Do students keep what they earn?

Yes. Earnings belong to the student. WSF takes no share.
